From the first e-mail that I had received from Dean and Shelley, I knew we’d be such an awesome fit. With e-mails full of photo idea’s and passion for it all, the build up to the engagement session was over the top!
We started it off with a walk with their dog Bella until we found the perfect spot to lay down a blanket and relax with some drinks. Not only did Bella look stunning, these two made my job easy. It was a breeze capturing the love that they share. After hanging out under the willow trees, we went to Kalavista Lagoon to use Dean’s vintage rowboat. This rowboat was an absolute gem. It was Dean’s grandpa’s and his dad completely restored it. I’ll let it speak for itself in the photos! As if this evening couldn’t get any better, Dean re-proposed to Shelley out on the Lagoon in the boat surrounded by willows. You couldn’t help but to be so happy hearted during this whole evening. I think Dean may have “fell” even more in love with Shelley, literally 😉 Luckily, no one ended up in the water, and it was love filled smiles from here on out.
I cannot wait to capture these two when they say I do at Painted Rock Estate Winery next year.
Until then, here is one stellar engagement session!
