I hopped onto a plane and flew to Ontario during one of my busiest months including 7 weddings to photograph Tom and Amber’s special day. While you could say that it made my life that much more hectic, it was absolutely all worth it to capture these two amazing people say I do!
The girls started the morning off with getting their hair and make up done by the unreal talent of Nicole Casey & Ange Langlais. We then headed to the house where such a lovely wedding dress was waiting to be put on.
Once everyone was ready, Tom and Amber had a first look to die for alongside an old rustic barn. Seeing their smiles as they saw each other for the first time has no words. From here, they had the most lovely ceremony backed with green trees and surrounded by vintage touches.
For me, I love locations where we get to stay at one place for it all, generally for the unique wedding party photos that doesn’t happen often, but this location was a breeze! From a grassy rolling field to the most darling light in the forest that we all know I’m a sucker for.
Have I touched base on the decorations/props through-out this special day yet! So much hard work was put into making this day ever so memorable. Walking into the huge tented reception decorated from top to bottom said it all. As the night went on with speeches and dinner, how could I have not dragged them outside as the sun ripped through the clouds to give us the sunset we had been hoping for! This was the perfect start to a night filled with an awesome band, great music and everyone dancing the night away.
Tom and Amber, you two are a lot of awesome. Thank you both so much for having me capture your wedding day! It was such a pleasure, now for some photos!
