Anyone who knows me knows that waterfalls are one of my favourite things. Add a stellar couple into the mix, topped off by the Okanagan fall colours, and that’s pretty damn perfect. I had such an awesome time adventuring with Katie and Ryan while capturing their engagement session. We were surrounded by warm yellows/orange tones. We found a really cool barn to start things out in then trekked through the trees to find ourselves a waterfall. As big and stunning as it was, sometimes you disregard it to focus on the darling true connection that these two have. They made things pretty effortless! We then headed to a grassy field, backed by the Okanagan valley and autumn tree line. The whole time that I was photographing this engagement, I couldn’t help but think about how excited I am to be their wedding photographer in Kelowna on their special day! We ended off the session down by the river on the rocks surrounded by the absolute brightest fall leaves.
